Setup Fee
A $44.00 setup fee will be due for any images submitted not meeting our requirements. This
fee will not apply to those text styles currently in stock or the submission of clean
digital black and white art, which needs no additional design touch up, sizing, separation
or arranging. We reserve the right to determine clean and ready digital art.
PC Files
ALL FILES_EVERY file used to create the final piece must be included. This includes the
original of files linked or placed with other images. All files must be editable!! In
order to adjust images to our size and/or resolution requirements (300 dpi preferred). We
must be able to open and edit ALL files.
Our system is IBM based. Files submitted must be of IBM format and configured in either of
the following file types: .Ai, .Tif, .Eps, .Cdr, .Cpt, or .Jpg. TO REDUCE DISTORTION OF
IMAGES APPLIED TO THE GLOBE'S CURVED SURFACE WE REQUEST IMAGES FIT INSIDE A 4 INCH
DIAMETER CIRCLE. Larger images may be applied using rotary methods of reproduction but in
some cases may be distorted. Text should be converted to curves/outlines whenever possible
to avoid font problems.
Fonts
Due to the proliferation of high (and low) quality fonts available today, it is impossible
for us to have every font. Therefore, we require all fonts used in a project be either
included on disk or converted to curves. If font files are submitted, both screen and
printer fonts must be included. It is best not to mix Postscript and Truetype fonts.
